King School Annual Adoption Event

This is our 7th year and the festival only gets bigger and better. We expect 3000 people and over 1000 dogs at the best Dog Festival in the State. Come on out for a great day in the park with family and friends. Fun competitions,  obstacle course, Police K9 presentations, demonstrations, adoptables, vendors, food trucks, face painting, caricature artist, photo board, dog licensing and more…  Fun for the whole family, including people. This 9th annual event will be featuring May Baskets, a blessing of the dogs, and other canine entertainment. The event is made up of many food and pet related vendors. Crafts, food and game tickets available for purchase.

The Annual Old Wethersfield Arts and Crafts Fair is hosted by the Wethersfield Historical Society and takes place the first Saturday of October. At the Cove Park, over 60 select artists and artisans will be offering original works of art and handmade crafts for sale. Browse hand-made items, shop for unique gifts, meet artists and watch demonstrations. There will be pottery, woodwork, prints, jewelry, textiles and fabric art, painting, photography, and so much more. Also look out for food and a musical performance.
