Tank would like a foster for the weekend while the shelter prepares for the upcoming storm. He can stay in foster while available for adoption after the storm passes, or can come back to the shelter after the weekend. He is very large, loves the snow, very strong and would do best in a home without other animals. Very sweet boy and a little silly.

We are looking for short foster for these puppies during the storm. They can come back to the shelter for adoption when CHS opens back up. They are recovering from a skin condition so their hair is growing back, they are still a little patchy. Since they are so young, they are not housebroken. They can go to foster individually. Abigail is pictured but Emma looks the same.

Champ needs a foster home until he is ready for surgery. He needs to have an echo with the cardiologist and then will be scheduled for a dental procedure. He is friendly, has been around dogs before but we would like to to an intro if there is a resident dog in the foster home to make sure everyone is comfortable. He has never met cats before. He has a moderate amount of energy and loves to play. He has some hair loss on the back half of his body, the hair is growing back and he will need weekly baths with medicated shampoo.

Greg is a little cutie who could use a foster for the weekend as CHS prepares for the storm. He is sweet, affectionate, a good little dude. He will be available for adoption soon and can come back once the shelter is open again next week.

This cutie had surgery to repair a broken leg yesterday. We would love to get him into a foster home for the next few weeks while he recovers since he will be more comfortable out of the shelter. He is sweet, friendly, loves attention. He will have some restrictions to follow for optimal healing and should go to a home where he doesn’t have to do many stairs.

Frito Crunch currently resides in our Waterford location, but we are looking to see if any of our fosters up in Newington are available to take him for a few weeks. He has been plucking his hair out and is on medication and doing better. He is not ready for adoption yet and we would like to see if being in a foster home would help with the plucking. He will need to go to someone who is comfortable medicating him and is home more often than not to observe his behavior and put his cone back on if needed. Please reach out for more information!
