Nova

3 Years/72 lbs
Pit Bull, Female

Needs: 1-2 months, maybe longer

Nova is a sweet, playful girl who needs foster while she undergoes treatment for her knees. She has arthritis and some other joint issues and we are in the process of scheduling a consult for surgery. She needs foster until the consult, and then after surgery for her recovery if that’s the route that’s necessary. She is very sweet, loves people, toys, attention, cuddles, pets. She is friendly with everyone she meets. She should go to a home with older kids because she gets a little mouthy when very excited. She does not really use any pressure and does well holding a toy in her mouth to contain her excitement. She should not go to a home with cats, and if there is another dog in the home, we would like to do an introduction here since she hasn’t met many. It is important that she goes to a home without a lot of stairs! Please reach out for more info today!

Stitch

7 Months/28 lbs
Pit Bull, Female

Needs: 1 Month

Crisis Foster Pet

This little sweetie is here for our Crisis Foster program until her owner is able to come back for her. She is sweet, can be a little bit shy at first so would do best in a more quiet home. She is good with other dogs and lived with a kitten. She is playful and loves toys, eager to learn. She needs about a month of crisis foster and will be ready to get into a home after she is spayed early next week (after 12/16).

Marci

2 years/49 lbs
English Bulldog Mix, Female

Needs: ~1 Month

Marci is recovering from recent surgery (FHO) and would love to continue healing in a home. She should not be allowed to do stairs, but if someone was to carry her, that’s okay. We are not sure how she is with other animals since she arrived immediately after surgery, but if there are other pets at home, they need to be calmer as to not cause her to play rough or get jumpy at all. She will need to continue doing PT at home and will need regular rechecks.

Bella

4 years old/ 10 lbs
Shih Tzu Mix

Needs: ~2-3 Weeks

Bella is a sweet girl who would benefit from foster for a few weeks. She was diagnosed with a liver condition and is on a trial of medication. She will need a recheck in a couple weeks to see how the meds are working. In the meantime, she could spend some time in a quiet home with someone to spoil her. Because of her health issues, she does urinate quite a bit so it might be better if someone was home more often than not to take her out more frequently, she does not seem housebroken at this time but does her best to use pee pads.
