The bones are taking shape. The vision is becoming reality. Your investment is worthwhile.

The property at the north-end of Wilton is hard to miss – construction is moving along and the shape of the new Animal Resource Center now visible.  The steel framing is complete, base roofing is in on, plumbing lines have been added, and the concrete floor has been poured. And you can see the walls going in. The project is now officially part of the “construction traffic pattern” along Danbury Road.

Here are a few photos to enjoy…

Hard Hat Tours are the rage! Wendy Lee, volunteer and Capital Campaign Public Phase Committee Chairperson, and James Bias, executive director, leading a tour at the property.  Contact Kayleigh to hop in on a tour at kshettleworth@CThumane.org or 860-986-1500 ext. 6307.

The taller section of the building is the adoption lobby atrium – where pets’ will meet their forever families and get a fresh start.

What a grand entrance!

This southern corner will be the clinic services office, the headquarters for change making!

The wide center entrance will be the veterinary clinic lobby, the first step to making lives whole. To the right of it will be the pet resource lobby, where folks will connect with resources they need for their pet.

Pluming and Rebar were added before the foundation was poured.

At the back of the lobby, there will be a covered outdoor yard for pets to use during inclement weather.

In the front northern corner, you will find the community education room.
