This tiny little kitten is kicking off 2025 with everything a kitten could dream of: a warm home, a loving family, and plenty of adventures to come. But life didn’t start out so easy for Tofu and his siblings.

In the freezing cold of early November, four little kittens were just a few weeks old and wondering where their next meal was coming from. They were just barely hanging on when a Good Samaritan heard their little mews and rushed them into the warmth of their home and then brought them over to the Connecticut Humane Society.

The medical team got to work treating them; it helped that these tiny kittens were mighty little warriors. Tofu had a minor infection, and he and his siblings were all fighting off fleas, but with a little medication and TLC, they were ready to enjoy kittenhood the way its meant to be.

Tofu and his brothers and sisters got to grow big and strong in a foster home, where they got to play, nap, and eat to their heart’s content. By the time he was big enough for his neuter surgery, Tofu had already charmed everyone he met. He even won himself a spot on NBC CT as Pet of the Week!

He played and purred his way into hearts across Connecticut, and before he knew it, he secured himself a brand new home with a wonderful family, starting the new year with a fantastic fresh start – what every pet in need deserves!
