PETtalk Understanding and Honoring the Grief of Pet Loss
September 30 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Losing a beloved pet can be as devastating as losing a human family member — yet many people feel alone or even ashamed of their grief. Whether you’re grieving now, supporting someone else, or simply want to better understand the human-animal bond, this event offers insight, validation, and comfort.
In this engaging talk, licensed clinical social worker Trinity Haswell, MSW, LCSW, will lead an honest and compassionate conversation about pet loss, grief and healing. She will explore why the loss of a pet can impact us so deeply, how grief shows up in the mind and body and why society often minimizes or invalidates this type of loss. Drawing from her clinical expertise and warm, person-centered approach, Trinity will help normalize the grieving process and offer guidance on how we can meaningfully honor our pets — and ourselves — during this emotional journey.
