Known as “Mel”, “Blue” has found a new leash on life!
Though it has only been a couple of days, I just want to thank the CT Humane Society immensely. We adopted “Mel” on May 31, and are completely and utterly in love. A shy dog, that would barely come forward to the door on the pen – is now our best friend. She loves to sleep on the bed, jump on the couch, chew bones, go on hikes and most importantly give us kisses every morning. She is still a bit shy (elevators were SUPER scary) but she is coming out of her shell. We plan to have Blue hiking more intensely and becoming our “adventure dog” once she has become more confident in herself. We are so pleased with the CT Humane Society – the staff were knowledgable and forthcoming, the facility was immaculately cared for and our dog was in pristine condition when she was there! Thank you for giving us our new best friend, and here is to her new “leash on life”!
