PETtalk Pet Insurance Do I Really Need It?

April 23 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Pet insurance has a low adoption rate among companion pet owners in the United States. However, it can be a lifesaver when a pet becomes ill or has an unexpected injury. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about insurance and determine if a pet policy is right for you and your family.

Whether you are a new pet owner or have had furry companions for years, this webinar will provide you with important information about protecting your pet with insurance. You’ll learn more about the role pet insurance can play in the planning for your pet’s lifelong health and hear tips about what to look for in a plan.

Have questions? Submit them during registration or ask them live during the Q&A.

Speaker: Julie D. Smith, DVM, DACVS, CCRT, MBA

Dr. Julie Smith is a veterinary surgeon, veterinary business owner and Board Member of Sage Compassion for Animals, a nonprofit awarding grants to pet parents that cannot afford the veterinary care that their pet needs. She is also one of nine veterinarians in the United States who has been chosen to sit on the Veterinary Economic Strategy Committee that examines the economics of the veterinary industry that impacts pet owners, pets and the veterinary community.
