The Connecticut Humane Society has just received a grant from the Grey Muzzle Organization to support senior dogs in the local community get the care and the fresh starts they deserve. Out of 440 applicants nationwide, CHS was chosen to receive this grant to support at-risk older dogs in Connecticut.
This means senior pups like Frankie, a sweet senior gal with a grey muzzle and a heart of gold, get the support they need when they need it. The Grey Muzzle Organization met Frankie’s family where they were, and in partnership with the Connecticut Humane Society saved Frankie’s life through essential urgent funding when a mass in Frankie’s body ruptured.
Thanks to the Grey Muzzle Organization, senior pets like Frankie won’t ever be forgotten. A huge thank you to Grey Muzzle and their generous supporters for making Frankie’s and so many other stories possible and for believing in a time where every senior dog finds safety, love, and a soft landing.
