Nickalo is a super friendly boy who is here until 8/23 in our Crisis Foster program. He is a large dude and would benefit from some time in a foster home until his owner can reclaim him. He is friendly, loves toys, can be jumpy but eager to please and very smart, loves to learn. He appears to like other dogs, he should probably go to a home without small children or with dog-savvy kids.

Pepperjack came to CHS with Heartworm and has just finished his treatment. He is not going to be ready for adoption until he tests negative. That could be as soon as 4 months from now, but could be as long as 6 months. He is very sweet, affectionate, loves cuddles and kisses. He walks nicely on a leash and is very playful! He should remain fairly calm and have his exercise restricted while on his treatment. His photo makes him look bigger than he is! He should go to a home without cats.

If you are interested but cannot commit to the whole 4-6 months, please reach out because even short periods would be beneficial to his recovery.

Daphne’s kittens are about 2 weeks old, so the whole family will need a foster home until they are 8 weeks old and ready for adoption. She is very sweet and does a good job taking care of her kittens.

Freckles and Goose are little cuties who need about 2 weeks of foster for socialization and to grow bigger before adoption. They are a little nervous so a quieter home or a quiet room would be preferred.
