SUMMARY:PETtalk Animal Communication and Energy Work
DESCRIPTION:Join CT Humane Society and Mary Albanese of ZenZu as she guides attendees through how to better understand pets.\n\n\n\n\nDuring this free webinar\, Mary will discuss how animal communication and energy work can support pets and their people through life’s changes\, what a session looks like\, when these approaches may be most helpful\, and how to discern meaningful insights while staying grounded and practical. \nAnimal communication and energy work help pet parents better understand their animal’s emotional state\, physical comfort\, and overall well-being. These approaches can be especially insightful during illness\, behavior changes\, major life transitions\, end-of-life care\, or when a pet is lost—supporting thoughtful\, informed decision-making. Many pet parents and caregivers find this work strengthens their bond with their pet while providing reassurance\, clarity\, and peace of mind. \nRegister Here!

SUMMARY:PETtalk Understanding and Honoring the Grief of Pet Loss
DESCRIPTION:Losing a beloved pet can be as devastating as losing a human family member — yet many people feel alone or even ashamed of their grief. Whether you’re grieving now\, supporting someone else\, or simply want to better understand the human-animal bond\, this event offers insight\, validation\, and comfort. \nIn this engaging talk\, licensed clinical social worker Trinity Haswell\, MSW\, LCSW\, will lead an honest and compassionate conversation about pet loss\, grief and healing. She will explore why the loss of a pet can impact us so deeply\, how grief shows up in the mind and body and why society often minimizes or invalidates this type of loss. Drawing from her clinical expertise and warm\, person-centered approach\, Trinity will help normalize the grieving process and offer guidance on how we can meaningfully honor our pets — and ourselves — during this emotional journey. \nAbout the Speaker \nTrinity Haswell of TH Psychotherapy\, LLC is a Connecticut licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s from Columbia University\, specializing in grief\, identity\, and life transitions. With a warm and compassionate approach\, she helps individuals navigate the often-overlooked grief of pet loss. Trinity is passionate about honoring the deep emotional bonds we form with our animal companions and creating space for healing through connection and self-understanding. When not in the office\, Trinity enjoys spending time gardening\, with her two cats\, and extended family pets. \nRegister Here!
