He has been a cherished resident at CHS for almost a year, and in that time, he’s become an expert in the art of human companionship. Your love and kindness have supported him through every step of his journey to health. Now, he needs your support in finding the loving home where his next chapter can begin.

At seven years old, this orange-and-white domestic shorthair is rarely far from the nearest person. He is often sprawling across keyboards, trailing staff from room to room, or awaiting his favorite chariot rides. Mealtimes are his favorite social hour; he insists on good company as he dines, purring contentedly beside those who care for him.

But when Frito Crunch first arrived at CHS last June, his life looked very different. Found wandering in New London County, his skin was raw and wounded, and eating was a painful ordeal due to advanced dental disease. Severe allergies left him in a constant state of discomfort, scratching and licking in search of relief. It was clear that Frito Crunch had endured far too much on his own.

Since then, the CHS team has rallied around him, providing veterinary care, special diets, daily medications, and most importantly, a steady supply of love and patience. With immunotherapy and ongoing daily medications, Frito Crunch has truly been healing. His skin and coat are healthier, and he is enjoying life once again.

He will need someone who can monitor his licking, administer his daily medications, and keep him on his special diet.
